Does every meetup have to be an official KACH event?
Not at all. We encourage you to reach out to other members and connect. This is why we've brought back registration fields such as "home church" and "neighborhood" to help facilitate these connections and friendships.
That being said, these events are held at your own risk and are not governed by the KACH bylaws.

Can I drop off my child at a KACH event?
"Parents are expected to accompany their children to all field trips. Children are NOT allowed to be dropped off for a field trip. If a parent is unable to attend with their child, other arrangements must be made in advance AND the field trip leaders needs to be notified with a Permission Form in addition to the Field Trip Form." - KACH Policies
Note: The "Field Trip Form" is the online registration for the event.

Who is in charge of KACH?
KACH is led by a Board of Advisors made up of volunteer KACH members. Board members have been members of KACH for at least two years and have a heart to serve the community in their areas of expertise. Board members typically serve for at least 2 years, and a nominating committee is formed when a board position opens. If you feel called to lead in this manner, please let us know.
I heard there's an app. Where is it?
You can download the "KACH Connect" app from either the Android or the Apple store.
I have kids across the age groups. Can siblings attend events for each others' age groups?
Generally, siblings are welcome to attend all KACH events. If siblings below or above a certain age are not permitted, it will be stated with the event information. Typically, we only see this with certain types of field trips, special events, or service projects.
Can non-members join member events?
Typically, no. Please protect the integrity of our organization and the protection of our families by not publicizing members-only events on your social media accounts.
Exceptions do happen! We have a few events a year where guests are welcome and invited - "bring a friend" type events. They will be publicized as such. We also have a few public events a year, including our Resource Expo & the theatre performances.
